Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club   

Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club:   Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club is a Lyle Anderson, private, guard gated community with a 4400 sq. ft. clubhouse, sports club, pool,spa,tennis & 36 holes of Nicklaus design golf course, all with the Superstition Mountains in the back ground. Club membership is by invitation only & is separate from the purchase of real estate in Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club.The golf courses at this time are private, but one course may open to the public in the very near furture. Home sizes range between 3000 sq. ft. to 12,000 sq. ft., with some town homes in the range of 2100 sq. ft. to 2700 sq.ft. Strict architectural guidelines are in place & all construction must be approved. Custom home sites are still available with water, power & phone at the property. Mountainbrook Village:  Is a  age restricted,55 + community with  lots of amenities,such as pool,spa,tennis,work out room,club house & more.There are close to 1600 homes in Mountainbrook,making it one of the lastest communities in Gold Canyon.Homes are both town & SFR & range in size from 1150 sq.ft. up to 2400 sq. ft..The first homes were built in 1989 with the last homes built in 2002. Quail Canyon:  Is one of the smallest gated communities in Gold Canyon & is divided  by Don Donnelly Dr. A few of the homes are  built on Dinosaur Mountain Gold Course,but most are not.. Kings Ranch Estates

Kings Ranch Estates:   Was formed back in the early 50's  by the King family & is the oldest community in Gold Canyon. Most of the roads are  still dirt & maintained by Pinal County,with a few  roads paved.Most of the home sites are over 1.5 acres with water & power.A few of the older homes  still rely on wells for water.Kings Ranch Estate does not have a sewer system & each home must rely on a pirvate waste system.The min home size is 1500 sq. ft. & most of the older homes built back in the 50's,60's & 70's are between 1500 sq. ft. & 2000 sq. ft.The newer homes range in size from 2500 sq. up to 4900 sq. ft. No HOA. Kings Ranch Estates & section 33,are  about as close as you can get to the Superstition Mountains & still be private land.Both state & federal land border Kings Ranch Estates.

Pasion Development 

Pasion:  Is a small gated community with no amenities,but good views of both Dinosaur mountain & the superstition mountains.Streets are paved water,power & sewer are available.Most of the homes range in size from 3200 sq. ft. up to 4700 sq. ft.Home sites are still available,Current HOA fees are $ 55.00 per month & include maint. of the common areas & streets. Gold Canyon East 

Gold Canyon East:  Is not a gated community & has both tract homes & custom homes with a few custom home sites still available.No amenities are available.The tract homes were built   from 1995 thru 2005,some of the builders include Lennar,Courtland homes,Great Western,Pepperwood Builders & Southwest Homes & range in size from  appox. 1200 sq. ft to 2900 sq. ft. The custom homes range in size from appox. 2500 sq. ft. up to 5500 sq. ft.Some of the custom homes are built at the foothills of Dinosaur Mountain & have good views of the Superstition Mountains.The custom home sits offer water,power & sewer.The HOA fees are currently $ 23 per month & include maint. of the common area.HOA is Jomar,contact phone number is(480) 288-8335.

Section 33:  As the locals call the area,is actually township 01N ,range 09E,section 33 & is at the far north end of Gold Canyon at the base of the Superstition Mountains. This section borders both state & federal land & is the  most  open , rural  part of Gold Canyon.Lot sizes range from 1.25 acres up to 10 acres. The  best views of the East Valley & the Superstition Mountains are from this area. Most of the roads are private & dirt,with the main road into section 33 paved & maintained by the county.Homeowners  rely on wells & private waste systems,as sewer & water are not available.Power & phone are limited.Some deed restrictions written back in 1972 apply,horses are allowed in most  parts of section 33. No mobile homes or businesses are allowed,no HOA.

  

Entrada Del Oro:  Is approx. 6 miles east of Gold Canyon on HWY 60 & 1.5 miles north of the HWY. This is Gold Canyon's newest community.Construction started back in the late part 2005 with two builders,Engle Homes & Hovnanian Homes.Home sizes range from 1200 sq. ft. up to 3300 sq.ft. with some of the homes built along the BLM fence line & having great views of the Superstition Mountains.HOA fees are currently $ 61 per month & include maint. of common areas & trash pick up.HOA contact phone number is, (602) 957-9191
